The screening of “Leave the World Behind”

The event on Tuesday 8th turned out to be a major success! SACC-LA was very happy to see so many familiar faces, both celebrities and members. We would also like to direct an extra thank you to our sponsors Volvo Cars, the Los Angeles Film School and RSA Films.

When the guests arrived on the red carpet they were photographed before they were served classic movie snacks such as sodas and popcorn. Before the movie started Volvo showed their commercial “Leave the World Behind” which they produced in collaboration with Swedish House Mafia.

Our special guest of the night, Per Carleö, Marketing Manager from Volvo Cars, told us about the creative process and how it was to work with three of the world’s most known DJs. He also revealed that the company is actually shooting their next production right here in Los Angeles this week.

When the movie ended the crowd fell into grand applause. The movie most certainly lived up to the amazing reviews it has gotten and you could really feel the tension on the screen throughout the salon. The Director, Christian Larson, truly made a great job with this movie, it is definitely a film worth seeing.
