Gender Parity Summit 2016

The 25th of October 2016, SACC-LA hosted, for the very first time, a Gender Parity Summit within the entertainment industry. The event took place at SAG-AFTRA in Los Angeles, where all attendees got to enjoy powerful speeches and important panel discussion with top speakers and panelists. Throughout the day everyone also enjoyed some traditional Swedish fika from IKEA Burbank and some Swedish sandwiches for lunch from Olsons Deli. The event was a great success, an inspiration with many great ideas of how to pave the way towards gender parity worldwide with Sweden and the Swedish Film Institute on the forefront on this topic and aiming to reach 50/50 by 2020.
